A man who dressed up as a floret of broccoli and was arrested at the weekend has been called an ‘idiot’ by Piers Morgan.
It was during his appearance on Good Morning Britain.
‘Mr Broccoli’ was arrested at the Animal Rebellion protest on Sunday in London but he was released without charge.
He said on the show that his job is ‘to just grow’ and his vision is to see a transition to a ‘plant-based food system’.
‘Well, I am just a broccoli,’ he said, then took a banana from his jacket pocket and pretended it was a phone.
'I'm just a humble broccoli' ?♀️?

Watching @piersmorgan @susannareid100 interview Mr Broccoli is possibly one the most absurd things I've seen this year. Beyond vegetable puns, he didn't have a clue. I'm glad I didn't have to spend time in the Green Room with him ? @GMB
