Police have launched a murder investigation after a 67-year-old man was stabbed to death in Ballymena.
The incident happened at a house on the Galgorm Road at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Peter Montgomery said despite the efforts of emergency services the man died.
A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Police are appealing for anyone who was on Galgorm Road at the time and who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist to contact detectives on 101.
