A young customer was left uninjured but badly shaken after a man with a knife robbed a shop in north Belfast on Thursday evening (January 27).
The man entered the shop on Alexander Park Avenue just before 9pm and demanded money from the staff.
The suspect made off with a sum of cash on foot.
He is described as being in his 30s, 5ft 11” in height, of slim build and he was wearing a black-hooded jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and a blue mask.
Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number CW 1849 of 27/01/22.
