This is Pedro the turtle from Louisiana State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Baton Rouge.
When Pedro was adopted, he was already missing a leg. When he ran away for a few months, and returned home, he had managed to lose the other one.
He was brought to LSU where an intern at the hospital used a Lego car kit, syringe parts and animal-safe epoxy, to give him wheels.
Pedro the turtle lost his back legs but Lego has him on the move again
