A principal has announced plans to end lessons at lunchtime on Fridays. This proposal is aimed at helping teachers cope with their workload.
Head, Jacqui Johnson said she hoped this would allow staff at Ashby Fields Primary in Daventry, Northamptonshire, to develop an ‘exciting curriculum’ without ‘burning out’.
If the proposal goes ahead, pupils will be sent home at 1.15pm on Fridays.
