Police are keen to talk to witnesses who were at the bonfire site in Larne where a man fell to his death.
Detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of John Steele at the site in Antiville on the evening of Saturday 9 July, have made a specific appeal for witnesses.
Mr Steele, who was in his 30s and a father-of-two, died after falling from the 50ft bonfire in Antiville just before 10pm.
Detective Inspector McCoy said sadly, despite attempts to save his life, he died at the scene.
“We would like to speak with anyone who was present at the time of this incident. If you have information regarding this incident please contact detectives by calling 101 and quoting reference 1866 of 09/07/22,” he added.
