Police are hunting a man in his 60s who kicked a baby swan while jogging in London.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Monday at Pen Ponds, Richmond Park, SW London.
The cygnet died yesterday (Thursday) after sustaining ‘severe’ injuries in the incident.
A newborn cygnet has been left seriously injured after a jogger kicked it out of his way in Richmond Park.

Staff at the Swan Sanctuary in Middlesex cared for the baby swan but it was unable to be saved.
#Update Sadly the Cygnet died this afternoon, his injures were too severe. The suspect was seen to kick another cygnet, which thankfully managed to escape to the water. The jogger had a logo on his running top and is balding.

Royal Parks Police said in a tweet: “Sadly the cygnet died this afternoon, his injuries were too severe.
“The suspect was seen to kick another cygnet, which thankfully managed to escape to the water.
“The jogger had a logo on his running top and is balding.”
Officers are seeking a white man aged around 60, with grey hair.
He is believed to be around 5ft 6in.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing black shorts and a vest with a logo.
