Police pulled a young woman from the water at Rodgers Quay in Carrickfergus, following a call from a member of the public.
The concerned person phoned police informing them that the woman had entered the water – the police were on the scene within four minutes.
The young woman was treated by Northern Ireland Ambulance Service personnel within 14 minutes of the incident.
Police say this is an example of another life saved by a multi-agency response.
