Malaysian police have visited more than 30 homes around The Dusan resort in search of missing Irish teenager Nora Quoirin.
The Malay Mail is reporting that Negri Sembilan deputy police chief Datuk Mohamad Mat Yusop said investigators have recorded statements from all villa owners in the area.
Nora was last seen one week ago and fears are growing for her welfare.
Already, more than £100,000 has been donated to assist the family’s efforts to find Nora.
The country’s Muslims have been celebrating Aidiladha today and some rescue workers held a prayer session in the morning before joining the rest of the team.
Nora was found missing from her bedroom the day after the family arrived for a two week holiday and what was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime.
Police have also established a hotline to enable members of the public to share information that could assist the operation.
