Property damaged in Antrim arson attack

A petrol bomb was thrown at the front door of a property in Antrim last night (Thursday) in an arson attack.

The property was vacant at the time of the attack.


Detectives in Antrim are appealing for witnesses following the incident at Portlee Walk.

Detective Sergeant Lyttle said at approximately 10.30pm police received a report that a petrol bomb had been thrown at the front door of the property causing damage.

A window had also been broken.

“We would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or anyone who has any information that could assist with our enquiries to contact the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 2118 14/10/21,” he said.
