An escaped black panther has been photographed in France after it was seen roaming rooftops.
The big cat prowled around Armentieres, near Lille, before being captured by authorities and tranquilized by a local vet.
The panther can be seen in photos pacing outside a window.
According to The Sun, there was no chip on the panther, or registration documents associated with her, suggesting she was ‘a black market animal who had been trafficked into France illegally.’
The panther was later sent to the Protestant League of Lille (LPA) shelter, where she spent time in a blacked out cage aimed at reducing stress.
