The Queen and Prince Harry will hold a crisis meeting at Sandringham on Monday to discuss the future roles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
It follows the announcement that the Sussexes plan to step back as senior members of the royal family.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge will also join the meeting at Sandringham.
Harry and Meghan released their statement announcing their plans to step back as senior royals, become financially independent and divide their time between the USA and the UK.
The couple released the statement before informing any senior members of the royal family.
The family was said to be disappointed and hurt at the move.
The Duchess is currently in Canada after returning to be with her son Archie, who stayed behind after the family’s Christmas break.
