There are 1080 new cases of COVID-19 in Northern Ireland – the highest daily figure to date.
That’s according to the Department of Health.

Alarmingly, Northern Ireland has a higher seven-day rolling average of new cases per million people than countries such as the USA, Spain, and France.
Meanwhile, Deputy First minister Michelle O’Neill will be isolating after a family member tested positive for the virus.
She will be isolating at her home in Mid-Ulster.
In a statement, her party Sinn Féin confirmed that she will be tested for COVID-19.
“Michelle will continue to follow the public health advice and carry out her duties in government remotely,” it said.
