Police came under attack in Cloughfern and Carrickfergus for the second night.
Bricks and bottles were hurled at PSNI officers at the Cloughfern roundabout beside Whiteabbey Hospital. Petrol bombs were thrown at police on the North Road in Carrickfergus and bins were set on fire.
Earlier a 47-year-old man was charged with riot and throwing a petrol bomb following disturbances in Cloughfern on Saturday night. He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on 26 April.
Saturday night’s rioting at Cloughfern resulted in a man sustaining serious injuries.
