NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has captured an image of what looks like the symbol for Star Trek’s Starfleet on Mars.
The shapes were found in the southeast Hellas Planitia region of Mars, created by wind, lava and dunes.
Nasa says enterprising viewers will notice that these features look conspicuously like a famous logo: and you’d be right, but it’s only a coincidence.
