Brendan, Ciara and Willow are just some of the names chosen for storms for the forthcoming year.
The Met Office and Met Eireann have just announced the names for the 2019-20 season
The two weather offices ran a ‘Name Our Storms’ contest for the fifth year, and were joined this year by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), the Dutch national weather forecasting service.
Kitty and Roisin, Liam and Olivia also feature on the list.
Derrick Ryall, head of public weather services at the Met Office, said they were delighted with the public response to the call for names earlier this year.
