It is ‘too early’ to know whether it’s possible to go on summer holidays this year, health secretary Matt Hancock has said.
He said there was still ‘a lot of uncertainty’. However he told the BBC he had booked a break in Cornwall ‘months ago’.
Meanwhile, travel companies are still struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are doing everything that we possibly can to make sure that people can have a holiday this summer but the vaccine rollout is absolutely essential to that,” said Mr Hancock.
