A suspected rhino poacher has been killed by an elephant and then eaten by lions in South Africa.
Only a skull and his trousers remained following the incident in Kruger National Park
The incident happened after the man entered the park with four others to target rhinos, according to a parks service statement.
An elephant ‘suddenly’ attacked the man, killing him.
“Indications found at the scene suggested that a pride of lions had devoured the remains leaving only a human skull and a pair of pants,” the statement said.
The incident has led to outrage on social media, with many claiming ‘karma’ for the alleged poacher.
