Ten NI Ambulance service staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
It’s just been confirmed by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. A further six staff have also been asked to self-isolate.
The staff work in the southern division.
They had ‘attended a social event outside of work.’
According to the Belfast Telegraph, the event was understood to have been a golf trip to the Republic of Ireland.
Meanwhile, Chancellor Rishi Sunak is to outline measures aimed at minimising further unemployment and redundancies. These measures are expected to replace the furlough scheme, which is due to end next month.
