Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to Castlerock Golf Club’s course and green hut.
The incident happened during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Police say a deliberate fire was started on the long grass on the course. They believe smoke and flames would have been visible from Circular Road.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Limavady police on 101.
