The annual event Take Your Dog to Work Day is celebrating its 20th year today and dogs all over the country have been accompanying their humans to the office.
The pet-friendly holiday occurs every year on the Friday after Father’s Day. More and more companies are participating.
It was started by Pet Sitters International (PSI), a database for professional pet sitters and dog walkers, where dog owners can search for available sitters.
It was initiated in the hope that people without pets would witness the incredible bonds between co-workers and their pets and be encouraged to adopt a dog.
