Tributes paid to Dr Paul Conn after crash at Kirkistown

The racing driver killed in a crash at Kirkistown yesterday (Saturday) was Lisburn man, Dr Paul Conn.

Dr Conn, who was a doctor at Ballygomartin Group Practice in north Belfast, died at the scene of the race.


The 500 Motor Racing Club Of Ireland has paid tribute to Dr Conn following the tragedy.

Dr Conn had already raced to victory in the first Roadsports race, against top opposition, and he was on course for a repeat in the second race.

However, the crash occurred opposite the control tower, on the front straight.
