Two people have been stabbed in Manchester city centre in what police say was a ‘targeted attack.’
Police were called to reports of an incident in Piccadilly Gardens just after noon today (Tuesday). Streets around the area were cordoned off.
One man was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening while another was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
No arrests have yet been made.
