The UK’s ‘loneliest’ cat has spent his eighth birthday waiting for someone to give him a home.
Twizzle currently lives at Battersea Cats and Dogs Home – and has been there for 125 days.
But now he wants a forever home. Twizzle has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but he is playful and affectionate, and he loves to sit in people’s laps.
Battersea rehomes FIV Positive cats to homes with cat proof gardens.
Battersea’s Cattery Team Leader, Rosa Steele believes that Twizzle might be overlooked because of the virus he suffers from.
She told the Sun: ‘Twizzle is such a lovely cat and it’s a huge shame that he has been waiting for so long to find a home.
‘He is an intelligent, playful cat and has a lot to offer as a pet.
‘What better birthday gift could you give one of our cats than a loving new home?’
