A new ‘Jackass’ style comedy game show due to air on Netflix has reportedly been filmed on a farm in Ballyclare.
Comedians Seann Walsh, Desiree Burch and Lloyd Griffith will host Flinch, which is due to be shown globally next week.
In the show, the contestants compete to see who has nerves of steel and there is one simple rule – don’t flinch.
Contestants are strapped into medieval style chairs and headgear in a bid to be terrified. According to the Irish Sun, hens, giant wellies, bales of hay and tractors are all used as props in a bid to ramp up the fear.
A Netflix spokesperson said: “The show is set on a remote farm in the hills of Ireland, where brave and foolish contestants gather to test their nerve against three fiendish games.
“If they flinch, there are painful consequences both for them and for our hosts, who have each chosen a player to represent them in the games.”
