The long awaited return of the popular MTV show is here.
The Hills: New Beginnings is on MTV at 8pm tomorrow night (Tuesday).
The original series ended in 2010, but the good news is that Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt are on screen once more, almost a decade later. With jobs and families of their own, we can watch more dramas unfold in the re-boot. They will be joined by Mischa Barton who starred in the OC.
Lauren Conrad won’t be returning for the new series, and neither will Kristin Cavallari and Lo Bosworth. Sources told People magazine that Lauren Conrad was ‘in a different place in her life’, preferring to focus on her family and her beauty range for Kohl’s.
In the new series, we are guaranteed more controversy and drama. In the past the show has been criticised for being heavily scripted, but speaking to Cosmopolitan, Mischa says that the new series will be different.
