If you fancy an entire deep-fried Christmas dinner this year, then a Scottish chip shop could be the place for you.
Dunkeld Fish Bar in Perthshire is dunking turkey goujons, battered Brussels sprouts and carrots and parsnip fritters in the fryer to create a dinner with a difference.
The meal costs about £10 and comes with a large pig-in-a-blanket – a battered foot-long sausage – as well as a deep-fried mince pie for afters.
But it’s all for a good cause as proceeds are going to the Dunkeld community.
In an area known for its traditional deep fried Mars bars, the festive dinners with a difference are apparently popular, according to owners Scott and Sharon Davie.
