Tributes have been paid to two walkers who lost their lives in separate falls in the Mournes yesterday (Sunday).
Robbie Robinson, from Banbridge, and Sean Byrne from Camlough, Co Armagh, tragically died within an hour of each other.
The first incident occurred on Wee Binnian hill shortly before noon while emergency services attended the second incident on Slieve Commedagh mountain just before 1pm.
Another man broke his ankle after falling in an area known as the Saddle around 2.30pm.
Mr Robinson was a former chief superintendent in the PSNI while Mr Byrne was a trustee and former treasurer of Craobh Rua Camlocha hurling club.
