£1,500 worth of drugs seized in Dundonald

Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £1,500, were seized during a search of two vehicles in Dundonald.

Police made the seizure on Saturday (7 March) at OId Dundonald Road.


Other drugs-related paraphernalia was seized.

Four men – all aged 17 – were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including possession of a Class A controlled drug.

All four have since been released from custody, pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Kevin Hawkins said police are fully committed to tackling the scourge of drugs in communities.

“We will continue to proactively investigate and carry out searches linked to the drugs trade.

“I would appeal to anyone who can help us identify suspects or lines of enquiry to call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111,” he added.
