A further 20 people have died as a result of contracting COVID-19.
This is the largest single-day increase in deaths since the pandemic began.
A further 34 cases of the virus have also been confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed to 3,408.
The fatality number refers to those who died in Northern Ireland’s hospitals.
This brings the death toll here to 329.
The total number of tests carried out in Northern Ireland has reached 23,376.
