There are 49 new positive cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 324. It is the biggest daily increase to date.
A total of 15 people have sadly died.
The increase comes amid pleas for people to stay at home.
Meanwhile, a new app dedicated to providing people across Northern Ireland with advice and links to vital trusted information in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak is available.
The app has been launched by the Department of Health Northern Ireland.
Of the doctors leading the country’s battle against the coronavirus, British Medical Association chair Dr Tom Black, has said the situation is expected to worsen and hit people ‘longer, harder and crueller than anyone can imagine over the next three weeks.’
