Suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £80,000 has been seized in north Belfast.
Three arrests were made on Wednesday afternoon.
Two men, a 36 year old and a 24 year old, and a 38 year old woman have been charged with a number of offences including possessing criminal property and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply. They are all expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates court this morning.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
It follows a policing operation conducted by officers shortly before 4pm.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of various drugs offences and possession of criminal property. A subsequent search of a property in the north Belfast area was carried out and a quantity of both suspected herbal and resin cannabis was seized along with over £8,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia. A man, aged 36 and a woman aged 38, were both arrested at the property on suspicion of possession of criminal property and various drugs offences.

Sergeant Connolly said those involved in drugs criminality seek to line their own pockets at the expense of causing harm to others.
“They set out to ruin the communities that they live and operate in and they do not care about the damage that they cause, preying on those who are vulnerable.
“I would encourage anyone who has any information about the use or supply of illegal drugs to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 with any information they have. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” he added.
