Meanwhile, local lockdown rules are proving puzzling, according to some politicians.
New restrictions for parts of Northern Ireland, including Belfast and Ballymena, will come into force, but have caused “confusion.”
DUP MP Ian Paisley, whose constituency includes Ballymena, said he was ‘completely dissatisfied’ and ‘very disappointed’ by the announcement yesterday.
