Saoradh leaflets have been distributed to houses on the lower Antrim Road in North Belfast.
Alliance representative Nuala McAllister has criticised the move by the party which was formed by dissident republicans.
“This group needs to take themselves as far away as possible, in fact, completely disband and give up whatever they think they’re going to achieve. Scary to think they believe they’d get support,” she said.
Others have been critical of the leaflets following the tragic death of North Belfast journalist Lyra McKee who was shot in Londonderry while reporting on rioting in Creggan. Some claim young people are being groomed and that the group is taking advantage of the publicity.
Saoradh meanwhile said the republican party is ‘going nowhere’ after the headquarters in Derry were searched again by the PSNI on Tuesday.

Seemingly Saoradh haven’t gotten the message, and instead are using the publicity they’ve gained from Lyra McKee’s murder as a membership drive. Shameless. https://t.co/atPf61ZS03
