Murdered journalist Lyra McKee’s book will soon be released to the public.
Angels With Blue Eyes traces the cold-case murder of South Belfast MP and Methodist minister, Rev Robert Bradford in 1981.
He was killed when IRA gunmen stormed a community centre during a meeting with constituents. They also murdered the centre’s caretaker, 29-year-old Ken Campbell.
Lyra was a gifted writer with more than one book in the pipeline.
Her agent, Will Francis, who sold her book, The Lost Boys, about the disappearance of children in Belfast in the 1970s, to Faber, on the basis of a proposal, said she was ‘gifted, brave, kind and funny.’
The 29-year-old was also a powerful advocate for LGBT rights.
Angels With Blue Faces will be published by Excalibur Press.
