A woman was knocked to the ground by two men who stole her handbag in Belfast City Centre last night (Wednesday).
The woman sustained a cut to her head and was brought to hospital for medical attention following the incident which happened in Alfred Street just after 11.15pm.
One of the men was wearing a grey tracksuit.
Officers and a dog unit guided by CCTV operators located two suspects nearby.
Two men, aged 28 and 31, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including robbery and handling stolen goods.
While they are both currently helping with police enquiries, the PSNI is appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact police at Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 2115 of 14 August 2019.
