A pedestrian in his 80s is in a critical condition following a crash in Ballymoney.
The Frosses Road has now re-opened following the one vehicle road collision this morning (Friday 8 November).
Inspector David Anderson said the incident was reported at around 8am.
“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who was on the Frosses Road, Ballymoney at the time of the incident, or who may have dash-cam footage available to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 296 08/11/19,” he added.
In a separate incident, a woman in her 40s was involved in a collision with a car on the Shore Road in Newtownabbey, near the Northern Regional College campus shortly before 7am. The incident caused long delays for motorists in the area this morning. The campus remained open for students.
