A woman in her 40s is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision with a car this morning in Newtownabbey.
The Shore Road has now re-opened following the serious one vehicle collision this morning (Friday 8 November).
Sergeant Wright said the incident was reported just before 7am.
“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who was on the Shore Road close to the Northern Regional College in Newtownabbey at the time of the incident, or who may have dash-cam footage available to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 259 08/11/19,” added the Sergeant.
