A piece of artwork stolen from the Peace Wall in Belfast has been recovered by police.
The metal sculpture, measuring 8ft by 8ft, designed and made by a group of local people, was found thanks to a call from the public.
It was reported stolen on Monday (December 9).
“While the sculpture has now been recovered by the owner, police are investigating the theft.
“If anyone has any information or witnessed anything suspicious in the area of the theft, or in the area of Divis Road area close to the Divis and Black Mountain car park to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 965 of 9/12/19,” said a police spokesperson.
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
