A further 17 people have passed away as a result of COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.
The total number of deaths here is 404.
According to the latest figures from by Department of Health, six deaths were recorded within the last 24 hours while the other 11 deaths happened outside the past 24 hours – but have just been added to the figures.
A further 45 people have tested positive for the virus.
The UK now has the highest death toll in Europe after new official figures revealed that more than 32,000 people have died from the virus.
Police meanwhile are conducting patrols to encourage people to adhere to the Northern Ireland Executive’s direction. They are asking people to be responsible and to make the right choices.
