A man sustained a slash wound to his hand during what’s believed to have been an attempted robbery in Ardoyne in north Belfast.
The man had driven into Estoril Park at around 2.20am on Saturday (27 June) when he was approached by an unknown man brandishing a knife.
The man demanded the victim hand over his valuables and when he refused, the suspect slashed his hand with the knife before running off.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who noticed the victim’s gold VW in the area at around that time. Please call 101, quoting reference 240 27/06/20.
