Searches have been carried out after reports were received by police of suspicious objects having been left in north Belfast and in the city centre.
Police conducted the searches today (Monday).
Inspector Paul Noble said police received reports at 12:40pm this afternoon that a device had been left on the Antrim Road in north Belfast, and a second device had been left in the Brougham Street area of the city centre.
He said searches were carried out and nothing untoward was found.
And he is appealing for people with information to get in touch.
“I want to take this opportunity to appeal to the local community and people travelling through these areas, if anyone comes across anything suspicious, they should contact police immediately.
“Anyone with information about this incident, or who saw any suspicious activity in area in recent days, is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 715 of 29/06/20,” added Inspector Paul Noble.
