There are 934 new cases of COVID-19 in Northern Ireland. One further person has died.

On Wednesday, a record number of new cases – 424 – was confirmed.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland may require a COVID-19 ‘circuit breaker this winter, according to the Chief Scientific Adviser Prof Ian Young.
This could mean the country goes into lockdown for around two weeks, to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Speaking on the Stephen Nolan Show, Prof Young said Northern Ireland is facing a ‘difficult six months.’
