Meanwhile, Northern Ireland needs a strategy to deal with COVID-19 that does not include a ‘cycle of lockdowns,’ Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill has said. She was speaking at her first media appearance since having to self-isolate.
"Whilst we are sadly reporting a number of deaths each day now, and R remains above 1, it does appear that Northern Ireland may be beginning to turn the corner on this wave."
