A 14-year-old pedestrian is in hospital after being injured in a collision in Bangor.
The girl was involved in a collision with a white Renault van.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident yesterday evening (Friday, 23 October).
The collision happened just before 5:40pm on Cotton Road, in the vicinity of the bus stop opposite the old primary school.
She was taken to hospital.
Inspector Jonathan Francey is urging anyone who witnessed the collision and who was on the road between 5:35pm and 5:40pm when the collision occurred, or who captured what occurred on their dash cam to contact police on 101 and quote reference number 1466 of 23/10/20.
The Cotton Road, which was closed between Donaghadee and Six Road Ends to allow officers to deal with the collision, has since reopened.
