A 36-year-old man is due in court next month, charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.
The charges arise out of a search into suspected drugs criminality linked to East Belfast UVF, conducted by officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) in the Braniel area of Belfast on Thursday (17 December).
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday 14 January 2021. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
