A man and woman were treated in hospital for head and facial injuries after being punched and kicked by a group of youths in Ballymena on Saturday night.
They were walking in the Paradise Avenue area at around 9:50pm when the assault happened.
They were taken to hospital following the assault for treatment for face and head injuries.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved in this incident, which police are treating as a potential hate crime.
