The gates of the Fundamania funfair in south Belfast had to close for a time on Saturday night.
Police say they received a report of large crowds attending the event in the Boucher Road area.
Officers attended in a crowd management capacity and there were no reports of injuries.
Event organisers closed the gates for a time as a health and safety measure to prevent overcrowding.
