A female fast food delivery driver was threatened by two men armed with knives in the New Lodge area of north Belfast.
The incident happened last night (Monday, October 8) shortly before 11:30pm.
The men made off in a grey Citreon Picasso vehicle towards the Shore Road before turning towards Belfast City Centre.
The vehicle was found abandoned in the vicinity of Victoria Parade. A knife was recovered close to the vehicle.
Damage was caused to the front wheels as a result of the incident.
The two men are described as being aged between 15-18 years old, 5ft 4” in height with balaclavas or scarves covering their faces. Both men were wearing dark grey hooded tops.
Detective Sergeant Moffett said enquiries are continuing and they are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 1434 8/10/18.
