A yellow weather warning for rain is still in force mainly for counties Antrim and Down.
The Met Office has warned that heavy rain may lead to travel disruption, and it says there is a possibility of some homes and businesses experiencing flooding. The warning is in force until 7pm this evening (Wednesday).
And the heavy rain doesn’t end there – later in the week, an Atlantic system will approach on Friday, bringing more strong winds and rain to Northern Ireland.
A further warning is in place from 9am on Friday to 9pm that evening.
